Fauns are the followers of Faunus a God of Prophecy, Woodlands, and the Consort of Fauna, a Faery Goddess of Flowers. They inhabit wild forest areas. Faunus created the shawm, which is the flute they play inticing Nymphs and human females to come out and dance naked with them in the moonlight. Fauns represent a healthy sexual drive and intelligent use of it to grow naturally occurring relations between two self respecting people. They are gently enticing creatures. Their attributes and help are called upon in magical workings including any gardening or stewardship of lands, fertility, merriment, and divination. [aprox 1-1/2" high]
